TS1810 - 7 Outlet AV Advanced PowerStrip+
The Advanced Tier 2 PowerStrip uses advanced technology to work with all TVs, detecting remote and motion activity to monitor usage. It automatically powers off the TV and connected devices when no activity is detected, ensuring energy efficiency.
TS1810 - 7 Outlet AV Advanced PowerStrip+
Traditional surge suppression products use standard Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs). All TrickleStar APSs use ceramic-encased MOVs, which suppress more energy and dissipate heat faster than traditional MOVs. This makes them fireproof during most surges.
The TS1810 features advanced noise filtering circuitry that reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), delivering cleaner power, and improved video and sound quality.
The Advanced Tier 2 PowerStrip uses advanced power measurement and patented auto-threshold detection technology to work with all types of TVs. Its multi-sensor detects IR remote control activity and motion to determine TV usage. If no activity is detected during the countdown period, it turns off the TV and connected electronics.
The power strip features 7 outlets, including 2 always-on outlets (one with transformer spacing) and 5 switched outlets (one with transformer spacing). This configuration allows for flexible device connection and management.
Equipped with 1,080 Joules of surge protection at 500 VPR (Voltage Protection Rating), this unit safeguards connected devices against power surges and spikes, providing reliable protection for sensitive electronics.
Provides enhanced safety and protection by automatically cutting off the electrical current during an overload or power surge. If devices or LEDs remain unpowered after a surge, manually press the circuit breaker to restore power.
The multi-sensor features an advanced algorithm that first focuses on detecting IR remote control signals during the initial countdown period. If no activity is detected, it then shifts to monitoring both IR remote signals and motion, ensuring comprehensive detection and response.
LED indicators for surge, ground, and switched status, plus child safety covers to prevent accidental contact.
Features a 4 ft. heavy-duty cord and a space-saving angled plug for versatile placement and convenience.
FAQs
Find answers to common questions about our product to help you get the most out of your experience.
Press the circuit breaker button on the side of the APS+ to activate power.
The multi-sensor must be connected to the APS+ , the TV must be plugged into the outlet labeled < tv > and IR signal from any remote must be received to supply power to the switched outlets. Alternatively, press the button on the multi-sensor to manually supply power to the switched outlets.
Make sure that the TV is plugged into the outlet labeled < tv >. Make sure that the TV peripherals are plugged in to the green switched outlets (except for the one labeled < tv >). The switched outlets will turn off within one minute of the TV turning off.
This is a notification that your TV and peripheral electronics plugged into the switched outlets will shut off in 10 minutes.
The countdown timer shuts off the TV and peripherals after 30/60/120 minutes if no Infrared (IR) remote signal or motion is detected by the sensor. To reset the timer for another 30/60/120 minutes, press any button on an IR remote control or move in front of the multi-sensor.
The APS+ didn't properly learn the power profile of your TV. Turn everything off. Unplug the APS+ from the wall outlet. Unplug the sensor and all devices from the APS+. Let sit for a few minutes. Plug the devices and sensor back in to the APS+. Plug the APS+ back into a wall outlet. Follow the "Before First Use" instructions. This will reset the power profile.
