The TAV-Link™ cable connects the Multi-Sensor to your TV's HDMI port, working with a Tier 2 AV Advanced PowerStrip to support high-level CEC commands. If no IR remote activity or motion is detected, or the TV is turned off, it sends CEC commands to smart TVs and gaming consoles to safely store data and settings before powering down.

Plug the TAV-Link cable into an open HDMI port on your TV to enable soft shutdown.
