Premium Fireproof Surge Protection
Traditional surge suppression products use standard Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs). All TrickleStar APSs use ceramic-encased MOVs, which suppress more energy and dissipate heat faster than traditional MOVs. This makes them fireproof during most surges.
EMI/RFI Noise Filtering
The TS1118 features advanced noise filtering circuitry that reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), delivering cleaner power, and improved video and sound quality.
How It Works
The APS works on a simple control/switched basis. When the control device, typically a TV or computer, is on, the energy saving outlets will have power and the devices plugged into them can be used. When the control device is turned off (or goes into a power-saving mode), the devices plugged into the energy saving outlets automatically turn off and stop drawing standby power. This saves energy, reducing the user's electric bill and saving them money.

The TV/PC peripherals do not switch off when the TV/PC is switched to standby/shutdown
Ensure that the TV/CPU is connected to the outlet labelled control. Adjust the threshold switch to suit your TV or PC, from High to Medium or Medium to Low.

Ensure that the TV/CPU is connected to the outlet labelled control. Adjust the threshold switch to suit your TV or PC, from Low to Medium or Medium to High.
Surge LED
When illuminated, it indicates that the surge protection is functioning normally. If this LED extinguishes at any time, the product was sacrificed to protect your devices and must be replaced.
The TV peripherals do not switch off when the TV is off
Make sure that the TV is plugged into the Control outlet. Make sure that the TV peripherals are connected to the green energy saving outlets (except for TV). The energy saving outlets will switch off after the TV has been switched off for 1 minute.
